먹튀검증 먹튀폴리스 Hand History Analysis Pt. 1

Sometimes when you are in the moment, it is more difficult to look at a particular play먹튀검증 먹튀폴리스 objectively. In order to allow some detachment from the passion of the moment I have in the past advocated making videos of your game to view at a later time. I still believe this is perhaps the best way to document your play and have it available for later analysis. But there are also some drawbacks to making videos, such as the resources it uses up on your computer as well as the distraction it may present to you as you play and don’t even get me started on the problems making videos gives you if you like to multi-table. This is why sometimes it is better to just save your hand histories.
The benefits to doing this are many. For starters, we here at realpokertraining.com have dedicated an entire section of our message board to the posting and analysis of hand histories. For those members here that are actively analyzing their games, this should be an often used resource. In general I think this section is far too underutilized and more of us should make an effort to not only post their own histories here, but also try to chime in with some analysis of others.
So, in order to get us all into the spirit of using the hand history as an analytical tool, I present here a hand history taken from my own games. Try to look only at the hand history first and figure out what your thoughts are before you read on and see my thoughts on the hand. This way you can practice your analytical thinking for future posts on the message board:
OK. To start with, when the blinds are small, and sometimes even when the blinds are big, I like to flat call in early position with aces now and then. In order for me to make this play I look for a few things. One thing that makes this look good for me is when the table has been very aggressive and there have been lots of raises and calls pre-flop. Now I am looking for a raise so I can reraise and get all my chips into the pot, hopefully narrowing the field as I do. Also I only do this because I understand and accept the risks. In the worst case scenario with a lot of callers and no raisers I know my aces have lost almost all their value and I must now flop a hand to profitably continue.
Low and behold, this is exactly what happened here. But, since the flop is raggedy and rainbow, I still think I have a good chance at holding the best hand. So my thought is to bet out and see who likes the flop. I decide to bet enough to gain some information if somebody wants to throw in a decent raise.
I am not intimidated by the raise and call initially, but there is always the chance that I am being strung along here. So I decide to find out right away where I stand and make a good size raise here that will tempt anyone hiding in the weeds to come out. Upon reflection I think I may have been able to get the same information a little cheaper, but probably not much cheaper.
When there is not one, but two all in raises after me I am fairly certain that one of these guys has flopped a set. I kiss my aces goodbye and toss them in the virtual muck. Had I been one of those players who is not able to fold aces post flop to an uncoordinated board I would never have played the hand the way I did. And, since this was a rebuy tourney, it is likely I would have lost more chips had I put in a good size raise pre flop. But you never know ;o)
I’d love for some rpt’ers to post their thoughts on this hand. You can either do it right here or post in the “Ask Seal” forum. If you do, please feel free to be as critical as you like, but be specific in your post and tell me what you would have done differently.
